Flavor Was Lacking This Visit, and Service Was Poor
Was dining with three people, and was their first time at Lotaburger. I've eaten at Lotaburger in Santa Fe before and Espanola before.
This location had at least five people working at the time, and no one dining inside.
After placing our order we had a long wait for food. When the food came out, my order was wrong and another one of our orders was missing items. After the kitchen fixed the orders everyone started eating.
At the end of our meal, another person I was dining with said they couldn't really taste the Green Chile on their burger. I still had the burger from my incorrect order, so they opened it and took a look.. and then took a bite out of it. That's when they realized their burger from the corrected order didn't have green chili in it.
Which means out of three orders, two were wrong, one was fixed and another one was replaced with another incorrect order.
The service received at other locations I've dined at was excellent or at least good. The speed and accuracy at this location definitely needs to be improved.
As for the burger, the green chile burger I had this visit was rather bland, it lacked any heat, and barely had the flavor of the hatch chile. The burgers were decent, but were lacking flavor this visit, both off the grill and from the peppers. Producing a semi-bland burger.
This place is usually on par with Whataburger in Texas, and most the food has good flavor.— Paul
