Good BBQ, Top 10 Brisket in San Antonio. Eat Under The Oak Trees
2 Bros BBQ on West Ave is a great spot to stop for some good BBQ, especially when the weather is nice because there is an outdoor seating area tucked underneath a bunch of large oak trees. The atmosphere is a relaxed, casual one that makes it easy to hang around and enjoy your meal with friends or family.
The menu here is fairly limited compared to other BBQ restaurants, with a focus primarily on the meats. Side dishes are limited, but everything I tried was done well.
The brisket was moist and tender with good bark and plenty of flavor. It was definitely the highlight of my meal. They offer three different BBQ sauces, so you have some options depending on what you like. There's a condiment bar with pickled onions, pickles, and other toppings, which is always a nice addition to a BBQ meal.
The creamed corn was decent, and the other sides were enjoyable without overshadowing the BBQ. I also tried one of their bacon-wrapped jalapeños, which definitely packed some heat. Maybe not the best one I've ever had but a decent addition to the meal.
For me, the outdoor seating under the oak trees is a big part of the appeal. This is definitely a place to enjoy some BBQ with friends or family.— Paul
