Decent BBQ in the Outskirts of Austin. Serrano Cheese Spinach Was Something New
Was my first time eating here, decided to make a trip out from San Antonio.
I had the moist brisket with a side of the spinach and potato salad. I also ordered the brisket tacos. The brisket was good, maybe not the best I've had., but it wasn't bad at all. It was tender and had good flavor. The serrano cheese spinach was different, never had anything like it, and the potato salad was probably my least favorite item.
The bar had a decent selection of craft beers to choose from and the outdoor dining area was pretty nice, with lots of room between the tables, a wood roof over it and several TVs around the area. There was also a tent and an uncovered area that were near a children's playground.
I would definitely return here, the prices were a bit on the higher side, but the atmosphere and some unique selections made up for it.— Paul
