Really Good Pad Thai, Lots of Menu Items, Good Service
Surprisingly I had not tried Noys Bistro, despite having tried nearly 2 dozen other Thai restuarants. I recently made it a goal to make my out-to-eat meals at new places if possible. Noys Bistro is located in a shopping center on Coronado & Pat Booker Rd in Universal City, TX.
I ordered the Beef Pad Thai medium hot, and my friend ordered the Pepper Steak along with the spring roll appetizer which was served as 4 pieces.
The spring rolls came out crisp and hot, had good flavor, and were served with 2 dipping sauces, a sweet chili and a dumpling type sauce. Then my beef Pad Thai came out. The serving was pretty large, I actually ended up leaving a little on the plate as there was no way I could finish the whole meal despite not having eaten all day. The flavor was good and it was honestly some of the better Pad Thai I've had in San Antonio. I ordered it medium hot, and it came out with just right amount of spice. The noodles were cooked perfect, the beef cooked until it just started to crisp on the outside but was still tender inside, everything prepared as it should be.
The prices were a bit on the higher side, with most entrees averaging about $17, but the food was good enough I would definitely consider going back to try some other items. I added this place to my Pad Thai review list, and it made the top 15.— Paul
