Best Fried Rice Ever!
I happened upon this place while staying in the downtown area. I asked the bartenders recommendation and he said the rib fried rice. Im far from a fried rice fanatic, but he said
it was one of the most ordered items there, which was hard to believe since its a Thai
restaurant with a menu filled with noodle dishes.
When the order came out and I took my first taste, it was absolutely amazing. This item totally changed my impression of what fried rice can be. The rice was made with beef rib meat, which was tender and marinated in waterfall sauce. The sauce gave this rice a savory, salty, and rich flavor that altered the entire dish. With bits of garlic, green onion and other spices.
The bowl of rice was undescribable. So much so, I found out the restaurant had made a deal to sell the sauce at a local store, and a year later I ordered several bottles to try and recreate the item myself, which just wasnt the same.
Since I first dined there and tried this item, it has only become even more popular. I have searched other restaurants, and attempted to find something similar, but have found nothing. The rib fried rice here is someting unique, an absolute must try if you like fried rice.— Paul
