  Had A Surprisingly Good Breakfast

  I'm not much of a morning person, and I'm definitely not a breakfast person. If I'm eating breakfast, chances are I'm traveling, which was the case on this visit. I stopped at Pecos River Cafe after the front desk at my hotel recommended it.
  
  I ordered a breakfast plate with eggs, bacon, and hash browns. Everything was good, but the hash browns really stood out. I was surprised by how much flavor they had, and it quickly became clear that they take their hash browns seriously here. Most of the breakfast plates on the menu included them, and even the breakfast burrito was served on a bed of hash browns topped with chile sauce.
  
  Service was good, the food was really enjoyable, and the prices were incredibly affordable. It's always nice to find a local restaurant that delivers a satisfying meal and draws in the locals because the food is so good an affordable.
  
  Pecos River Cafe was a great recommendation from the hotel staff. I'm not someone who normally goes out of my way for breakfast, but I'd gladly eat here again if I'm passing through the area.
