Theres No Where To Eat Out Here - Alien Burger It Is

We made a day trip from Las Vegas to explore the area around Area 51 and check out some of the famous UFO-related tourist stops. We drove along the Extraterrestrial Highway, taking photos with the highway sign and the Black Mailbox, then headed down Groom Road until we reached the security boundary before turning around and returning to the main highway.

Our final stop was the Little A’Le’Inn. We browsed the gift shop and decided to grab something to eat. There isn't much out here in the way of businesses or places to get food. The last thing we had passed was a jerky store, so stopping here for a meal made sense.

We ordered Alien Burgers and a soda, then settled in at the bar to eat. The restaurant has a quirky atmosphere that fits the whole Area 51 theme. When the food arrived, I was surprised by the shape of the burger. It came on a long bun with an oblong patty, making it look almost like a McRib from McDonald's, except with a hamburger patty instead of the rib-shaped pork.

The burger had decent flavor and was a good size. It came as part of a meal with chips and a drink, and considering how far out in the middle of nowhere we were, the price was pretty reasonable. While we ate, we chatted with the employees about UFOs and all sorts of other random topics, which added to the experience.

By the time we left, it was getting dark, and the lights around the building had come on. There were blinking lights outside, along with a UFO mounted on the back of a tow truck in the parking lot. Naturally, we stopped to take a few more photos before heading back to Las Vegas.

The Alien Burger itself was decent, but it wasn't necessarily something I'd go out of my way to eat again. What made the meal memorable was the location, the unusual atmosphere, and the chance to spend some time chatting about UFOs in the middle of the Nevada desert. It was a fun, quirky stop and a fitting way to wrap up our Area 51 adventure.
