Free Birthday Pizookies. Been Getting One Every Year
I eat at BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse every once in a while, and if you join their loyalty club you get a free pizookie every year for your birthday. This review is basically a collection of some of the different pizookies I've tried there over time.
The Brownie and Sugar Cookie versions are probably my favorites. If you take them to go, the ice cream comes in a small pint bucket with a lid and the cookie comes in its own metal pan. The cookies are always baked hot, which makes the ice cream start melting on top of them. The ice cream itself is BJ's own brand, and the vanilla in particular is pretty good, creamy, with an old-fashioned vanilla flavor to it.
Between the loyalty club perk and how good the pizookies are, it's a place I keep coming back to every so often.— Paul
