Amazing Cream Liquors, And Pretty Good Whiskey

I saw this place on the side of the road while driving thru Pigeon Force and heading back up to the interstate highway. I decided to pull over and make a stop because I had been wanting to grab some whiskey and moonshine to take back home. The Ole Smokey is available everywhere, but I was hoping to grab something different.

When I went inside I saw the flavor board which was full of items that were pretty interesting. Wedding Cake, Banana Fosters, Creme Brulee, Peppermint Mocha, Dirty Cream, and more. That was just the creme liquors. Then there was an assortment of Whiskeys, and flavored rums.

I went over to the counter and asked if they were available to tasting, and they were. I asked if there was a limit on the tastings, and they said there pretty much wasnt. I proceeded to try about a dozen items.. Im not a big drinker, but some of these were amazing, and I wanted to try almost everything that looked interesting.

The Creme Brulee and the Wedding Bells Cream flavors were my favorite of the Cream Liquors, I ended up taking 2 bottles of each. Then I grabbed a peppermint mocha, as the winter season was coming and I thought this might make a good add-in for some hot chocolate.

The Creme Brulee was amazing, it was smooth, strong, sweet, and could imagine this going well as a dessert topping, mixed into ice cream for a alcholic shake, baked into desserts, or just drank chilled. The Wedding Bells was a close second, I think it was a bit sweeter, but offered the same qualities. This was the one that made me think they might be good in coffee. But Im not really a coffee drinker. None the less I know people who are, and thats why I bought some as gifts.

I moved on to tasting the whiskey types. I tried 4 of those, the canebreak, the king snake, the salted caramel and the peanut butter. I ended up taking a bottle of the canebreak as it was nearly as good as the king snake, maybe not quite as smooth, but I was going to give it as a gift.

Onto the rums & moonshine, I tried the coconut and the apple pie. At this point I called it quits.
I bought a bottle of the coconut rum as another gift, and took the mango habanero blindly to try later. It ended up being one of my least favorites. The other one I thought I liked, but didnt when I got home was the salted caramel. The caramel flavor is super strong, its like drinking liquid caramel candy.

Anyways. After all the tastings, and the purchase they gifted me a few of the shot glasses, which are available for free with a coupon, but I hadn't brought one in from the magazines and brochures around town. There was also a discount when you bought a certain number of bottles. So that was nice too.

Since returning home, the liquors were a hit. People wanted more of the creme ones, but I found out these couldnt be exported from TN. They can export to certain states and I was able to find a 3rd party retailer in NJ, that could ship them to me, but after markup and shipping they were pretty pricey. So I guess I'll have to wait for my next trip out that way to get more. So far these are the best cream liquors I've had anywhere.
