Great Outdoor Dining, Good Service, Decent Food

I was passing thru this small town while on a roadtrip down the Blueridge Parkway. It looked like a decent place to grab a meal, it was set in a small mountain town, with tall trees, and despite it being the end of the tourist season, with many businesses in limited operation, it was bustling with people.
The parking lot was nearly full and I just happened to catch a spot that opened up.

I went in and was seated at one of the outdoor tables, it was a nice cool Autumn day, so it was prefect weather to dine outside. After looking at the menu which contains a very diverse selection of items. I decided to keep it simple and just go with some wings and fries, and a beer. I picked a beer I had never seen before, and asked if I could do half and half on the wings. I ordered garlic parmesean, and mango habanero. I figured if one was too hot the other could possibly put the fire out, or at least leave me with half a meal that was edible.

The food arrived, and the wings were cooked decently well. I wouldnt say they were perfect, they didnt have what I would call a crisp to them, but the flavor was good. They were generously coated in the seasoning and sauces, which gave them plenty of flavor. The tator tots were cooked crispy, had a nice crunch to them, with a moist center.

Service was pretty good, the atmosphere was really what made the meal here really nice. The food was decent, I mean I did order a simple item, so I wasnt expecting anything amazing here. But overall I would return here for another meal, especially in the evening or fall season, because the outdoor dining area was so nice, and the menu is pretty diverse.
