Completely Random Pick. Food Was Decent
I was staying at a hotel in the area, looked for a place nearby with food open late and this place came up on Google. I decided to drive over and check it out. Its a rather small place, was dimly lit, and had that dark bar atmosphere going on.
I picked the Oyster Po-Boy from the menu, and ordered a drink. After a short wait the food came out in a basket, was decently prepared. The amount of oysters inside the po-boy was decent, not overly packed, but also enough to at least get 1 or so in every bite. They were medium sized oysters, so there was a decent amount of meat there. The bread had good flavor, the oysters were fried crisp with a little crunch to them, and the sandwich as a whole was pretty decent.
The whole insides, with the tables and bar, felt a bit squeezed. But it met my dining needs for the night, offered a decent Po-Boy, and I left pleasantly surprised by the food offered in a small bar like this. Was not expecting to find a Cajun Creole bar when I started looking.— Paul
