Good Service, Correct Orders, Drive Thru Moves Decently Fast
This McDonald's location has been pretty consistent with the food. Orders come out accurate almost all the time, and the location always seems to have items as soon as they become available, while also being one of the last to run out when something's being phased out. When the McRib was on its way out, I was still able to find it here a good two weeks after every other San Antonio location had already pulled it from the menu.
The food is nearly always hot and fresh here, and the fries tend to be better than average, though not always. The drive-thru also moves at a fast pace regardless of how many cars are in line. Overall, I'd consider this one of the better McDonald's locations to visit.
It's hard to believe a chain as large as McDonald's would vary so much from location to location, but it really does, and it all comes down to the employees running the place. I've had a few rare occasions at other McDonald's locations across the country where a single item I ordered turned out to be absolutely amazing, and I honestly have no idea why. Maybe it comes down to something being pre-cooked and held in a warmer versus fresh out of the fryer, but it does happen.— Paul
