  Decent Seafood For A Fast Food Place

  I've only eaten at Captain D's a few times, since we don't have any locations back home in San Antonio. They're like a version of Long John Silver's, but with a more extensive menu, including some more upscale seafood items like chowders and stuffed crabs. That said, it's still very much a fast food restaurant at its core.
  
  On this visit I was traveling and happened to see the location while driving down the main street in Stephenville, so I stopped in.
  
  I ordered the fried fish and shrimp with coleslaw and green beans. The food was as expected from previous visits, with the fried items crispy and fresh, and the sides being about average. The green beans in particular were actually pretty good, but the coleslaw was so-so.
  
  Prices here are very affordable, service is face, and if you dont mind fast food style seafood, its definitely a place you should try.
