  Taquitos Mexicanos - Mini Tacos - Great Salsas

  Cancun offers a wide variety of authentic Mexican dishes that go beyond the typical Tex-Mex fare you find at so many restaurants. You can tell as soon as the food arrives that this place offers something a little different.
  
  The portions are generous, the prices are reasonable, and the food has excellent flavor. Most entrees fall in the $9–$12 range, and the time from ordering to having your food served is pretty good.
  
  One of my favorite things here is the *taquitos mexicanos*. These crispy little mini tacos are some of the best I've had at a sit-down restaurant. The only places I've found that can compete have been food trucks. Paired with the fresh salsa served at the table, they're absolutely delicious.
  
  Speaking of salsa, when you arrive, you're served chips along with three different salsas: green, red, and roasted. Each has a fresh, homemade flavor that makes a great first impression while you look over the menu.
  
  There's plenty to choose from, including various enchiladas, seafood dishes, burritos, traditional tacos, and soups. With the variety, generous portions, and flavorful food, there's a lot to like here.
  
  One thing to watch for on your first visit is the location. The restaurant sits a little ways back from the street, so it's easy to drive past if you're not paying attention.
  
  I highly recommend Cancun to anyone looking for flavorful, authentic Mexican food rather than the usual Tex-Mex experience.
