  Old Fashioned Burgers, Good Flavor & Super Cheap Prices

  5 burgers for $3.85. Don't let the looks of this place fool you. Its looks like its been open since the 1950's because it has. Once a burger and malt shop for the drive in theatre that was located across the street, now a well known neighborhood burger shop.
  
  Growing up on the south side of San Antonio, I remember when this place was 5 burgers for $1.98. Of course the prices over the last 30 years have gone up a few times, but the food has remained the same.
  
  The burger specials are the smaller of the burgers they offer.. similar to McDonalds 99 cent cheese burger. They have better burgers on the menu, but this is the main item they sell all day long bag after bag. The 5 burger specials are toasted buns, with chopped onion, mustard, pickles and a meat patty.
  
  The larger single order burgers come with tomato and lettuce and a larger meat patty.. Most people just order a single large tator tot or onion ring as it will feed 2-3 people easily.
  
  Ice cream floats are good, as well as many of the other items on the menu. I wouldnt say that these burgers will blow you away.. I wouldn't say that they are absolutely amazing, but I would label this place the White Castle of San Antonio's southside.
  
  Its just one of those places that takes people back to their childhood, its a place that brings in new customers because of the crazy low prices, and keeps people coming back because the food is good.
  
  The burgers are full of flavor, and its not uncommon to see people picking up orders of 10-20 or more.
