Decent Buffet, Limited Selection, Average Flavor
I was traveling across Texas and stopped at this buffet for a late-evening meal while on the road. Since Nacogdoches is a relatively small town, I wasn't expecting anything particularly impressive and figured it would be an average buffet at best.
The buffet offered a fairly standard selection of items, along with a small sushi selection and a Mongolian BBQ station. I tried about half of the available dishes, but some of the items were overcooked or chewy. Of everything I sampled, the lo mein noodles and coconut chicken stood out as the best items.
I usually have quite a bit to say about the restaurants I visit, but this one didn't leave much of an impression. The food was average, with a few decent options but nothing that really stood out.
After reading other reviews, it seems my experience was pretty much in line with what others have reported. Overall, it's an average buffet that will do if you're looking for a meal while passing through, but I wouldn't go out of my way to visit.— Paul
