  Korean BBQ in Asheville, Decent Bulgogi, But Average Sides

  I was pleasantly surprised to come across a Korean BBQ restaurant while visiting Asheville. Having never spent much time in the area, I knew Asheville had a strong art and creative scene, but I wasn’t expecting quite the variety of food options I found when I arrived and searched Google for places to eat.
  
  I ordered the Bulgogi, which came with several sides and a soup. Overall, the meal was good, although the Bulgogi itself was a little underwhelming, it was lacking some of the marinade flavor I was expecting from Bulgogi. The sides were decent overall, although a few were also a little lacking in flavor. I’ve found that the quality and flavor of the side dishes can vary quite a bit from one Korean BBQ restaurant to another.
  
  The food came out quickly and everything was well prepared. Service was decent, although there were a few times when our waitress was away from the table for a while. Still, everything was taken care of and there were no major issues.
  
  Prices were about what I would expect to pay at a Korean BBQ restaurant back home in Texas, so I felt the meal was reasonably priced.
  
  For an unplanned stop while traveling, I was happy to have stumbled across this place. It wasn’t an exceptional meal, but it was good enough that I would visit again if I’m back in the Asheville area.
