  Saw Signs Advertising "The Best Fudge Comes From Uranus". I Had To See What This Was About

  I wouldn't call this a tourist destination, but definitely a roadside attraction. The store has a variety of food items including taffies, brittles, chocolates, and of course fudge. Everyone walking thru the door was greeted by "Welcome to Uranus".
  
  If your traveling the interstate here you'll undoubtedly see the bill boards, "The Best Fudge Comes From Uranus" and "Big Fun In Uranus" ect..
  
  So how was the fudge? It was your standard flavors, and fudge you find at touristy roadside places across the country. I didnt think it really stood out at all. But this place is all about the marketing. If your looking for some gag gifts, and weird souvenirs to take back home, this might be the perfect stop.
  
  The area consists of a strip of little shops including a restaurant which was closed at the time of my visit. Theres also a gun store/range, which was really odd, as I walked into a candy store, passed thru an open door and was in a gun store. But then again, whats not odd about this place.
  
  If your traveling down the Route 66 its worth a stop, stretch your legs, sample some fudge and enjoy some weirdness.
