Chinese Buffet With Some Harder To Find Items

Teppanyaki Grill and Buffet offers one of the widest selections of buffet items in the city, with plenty of variety beyond the usual Chinese buffet fare. Along with a decent sushi bar, the buffet includes steak, crab legs, oysters, and shrimp at no additional charge. There's also a hibachi grill where you can put together your own ingredients for a Mongolian-style BBQ.

One of the things I appreciate about this buffet is the variety of harder-to-find items. Seaweed salad and dim sum are available, and the custard buns are one of my personal favorites. The sushi bar offers the usual rolls, but it also includes sashimi, nigiri, and hand rolls, which you don't often see at a buffet. The regular entrée selection is good, too, with several shrimp dishes and even salt-and-pepper squid.

This is also a good option for families dining with children. Toward the back corner, there's a section with more kid-friendly choices, including chicken nuggets and pizza. For dessert, there's self-serve scooped ice cream, and the restaurant has a fairly large arcade room with ticket games and prizes to keep the kids entertained.

Overall, the food ranges from decent to good. There has been a few items I've been less impressed with, but most of what I've tried has been tasty. The biggest selling point is the sheer variety, especially if you're looking for something beyond the standard buffet offerings. At the current price of $11.99, it's a fair value, and the service is generally good.
