Visited To Try The Puerto Rican Lunch Buffet

I came here for lunch with a group of coworkers after one of them recommended the restaurant, particularly because they offer a buffet. Before this visit, I'd never eaten at a Puerto Rican restaurant, so I was looking forward to trying something new.

The buffet didn't have a huge selection, but it offered a good variety of dishes and gave me the opportunity to sample several foods I hadn't tried before. Some of the flavors and dishes reminded me of Colombian cuisine. Among the sides were fried plantains, yucca, seasoned white rice, and black beans. I also tried some of the roasted pork and chicken, followed by a serving of flan for dessert.

Overall, it was a unique experience that introduced me to a different style of food. I'd heard the restaurant's name before, but I had assumed it served Mexican food, so discovering that it was Puerto Rican was a pleasant surprise. It was a good opportunity to expand the variety of cuisines I've tried.

If you've never had Puerto Rican food, I'd recommend giving this place a try. The buffet is an affordable way to sample a variety of traditional dishes without having to commit to ordering just one entrée. It's a good introduction to a cuisine you may not have experienced before.
