Surprisingly Good Buffet
While visiting the Hot Springs area I happened to find the Hibachi Sushi Buffet. On arrival I noticed the place was packed. Parking was overflowing into the neighboring parking lots, a large group of military were exiting, and it looked like the church crowd had just arrived as it was a Sunday afternoon.
The buffet had a wide variety of items which included creme brulee, a favorite of mine. I tried a little bit of everything, including the steak which was brought out in trays. It was pretty decent, the majority of it cooked medium well to well done. The sushi rolls had good flavor nearly across the board. I was expecting decent sushi here, and many of the other items on the buffet were good to better than average for a buffet.
As for service, it could have been a bit better as far as drink refills and clearing of plates, but I was visiting during the Sunday lunch crowd. However after reading reviews online, it seems this may be a normal occurrence.
Everything was average to good, (food, price, & variety/selection). I've tried some other local buffets and I would be willing to say this is probably the best buffet in the Hot Springs area. I would definitely return when visiting. Plus they were advertising $7.99 Lunch and $9.99 Dinner Buffet. For this price the food was a great deal.— Paul
