  Lack Of Service, and Average Quality Food

  We ate here as a late evening dinner while traveling. It was getting late and we decided to give the place a try.
  
  Steaks and entrees were a bit on the pricey side. Both of our meals were in the $30-45 range each, this restaurant is one of the more fine dining experiences in the area. I ordered the sirloin steak, but felt that its flavor was average. It didn't seem to have anything done to it, that set it apart from other places.
  
  The sirloin steak came with rice pilaf and a baked potato. The steak had some grill flavor but it wasn't amazing, it was cooked to the right temperature as ordered, but it was just lacking the flavor I expected from a place presenting itself as a long established quality steakhouse.
  
  Service at our table was not great over the length of the meal. It was spotty sometimes with long periods where no waiter was seen, or we could not get their attention. We were served bread before our meal, but the waiter never came back until the food was ready which was quite a while. Our glasses were empty at this point and we had been trying to get someone to refill them.
  
  I had to wonder if the fact we were seated at a corner table, against the front wall of the restaurant. We had more periods of waiting at the end of our meal as well, first to order desert, and then again to get the check.
  
  The food was good, but not fine dining steakhouse quality in my opinion. With the prices being on the upper end for a small town, and our table receiving poor service, I feel the experience was simply not very impressive.
