Excellent Korean BBQ. Lunch Special Is An Awesome Deal
One of the things I really liked about this restaurant was the way they served the banchan. Instead of bringing a few small dishes to the table, the side dishes were available on a buffet cart with a wide selection of options that you could refill throughout your meal. Divided plates are provided for self-serving, and metal chopsticks are available in a container at the table.
There are several all-you-can-eat options, including lunch, dinner, and premium meat selections, with each level costing roughly $10–$15 more than the previous one. The lunch menu includes six meat choices, including bulgogi and pork belly. The dinner menu adds several more options, while the deluxe menu offers an impressive 17 different meat selections.
I started with the pork belly, which came with onions and king oyster mushrooms. I grilled everything together and then mixed the onions and mushrooms with the bulgogi I ordered next. The pork belly also came with two dipping sauces, including one of my favorites: a simple salt and sesame oil sauce.
The table service was very good during my visit. I was there between lunch and dinner, so the restaurant wasn't particularly busy, but the staff was attentive. They helped adjust the grill temperature, turned the meat, cut items when needed, and regularly checked to make sure everything was going well.
The only real limitation was the one-hour ordering period. My understanding is that the time limit applies to ordering additional meat rather than requiring you to finish your meal and leave after an hour. In other words, they aren't going to clear your table and rush you out when the hour is up; you just can't place additional meat orders after that point.
Compared with the other Korean BBQ restaurants I've visited, I thought the food quality here was excellent. The combination of meat selection, banchan variety, price, and service made for a very enjoyable meal.
I will definitely be returning, and I'll probably bring more people with me next time so we can try even more of the meat selections. If you enjoy Korean BBQ, this is definitely a place worth checking out while you're in Las Vegas.— Paul
