  Stopped In For A Beer & Shepherds Pie

  I've visited this location a few times, and while the service can vary a little from visit to visit, it's generally pretty good. The food has been more hit or miss, ranging from decent to excellent depending on what I've ordered. So far, I've tried the Shepherd's Pie, which is my favorite, along with the fish and chips, pulled pork sandwich, and chicken wings.
  
  The Shepherds Pie has really good flavor, a decent amount of meat, the whole dish is baked well, and comes out better than almost any I've had elsewhere. The portion size is decent, but not very large.
  
  The Chicken Wings were decent, but not impressive, they were about average size and flavor, so nothing really different, but would make a good item to snack on while drinking or watching a game.. I don't think Id order them as a meal unless I was ordering additional items as well.
  
  The Fish & Chips here were decent as well, good flavor, decent portion size. The batter has a good golden crispy finish, the fish is better than many places, and the plate over all is a good meal.
  
  One thing to keep in mind is that the entree portions are on the smaller side. When dining with someone else, we've split an additional entree or appetizer, which usually makes the meal much more filling. This applies mostly to items that are single items, and don't come with a side. Pricing is about average for a bar and restaurant combination, so I wouldn't consider this a bargain or a place to go if you're looking for a large meal. The beer selection is decent, and they also have a good variety of ciders.
  
  While I don't visit very often, I usually do when I'm looking for something a little different, this is always a good option. It's a nice place to grab a few drinks, have a lighter meal, watch a game, or hang out with friends and grab a bite to eat.
